The problem

Study and devotional material is abundant in a handful of major languages and close to absent in most others. The communities with the least material also have the fewest people available to produce it.

Why it mattered

Low-resource languages are exactly where general-purpose AI is weakest and where careless output does the most damage, because there are fewer people positioned to catch an error.

What I built

An AI-assisted drafting and checking tool built for the constraints of low-resource languages, produced for the AMD Developer Hackathon: ACT II — assistive by design, with human review assumed rather than optional.

What I learned

Aim AI at a problem narrow enough to evaluate. A constrained tool whose output can be checked is worth more than a general one whose output cannot.
